Do you have an old paper egg carton around? Don't recycle them; use them for Little Trees. Make little Christmas trees using cardboard egg cartons and green paint. You'll need one large egg carton, or two small ones for each tree.
You'll need four of these cone shapes to make a tree
Step 1: Open an egg carton. Cut around the bottom of the sticking-up parts.
Step 2: Trim the bases so they sit flat
Step 3: Paint them green. Let them dry.
Step 4: Cut slits halfway up the sides. Then bend them out a little
Step 5: Stack them on top of each other.
