As the autumn leaves fall and the air turns crisp, the spirit of Thanksgiving is in full swing in the vibrant community of Harlem. This year, several generous individuals and organizations are coming together to ensure that no one in the neighborhood goes without a bountiful Thanksgiving meal. From turkey giveaways to a community luncheon, Harlem is spreading love, gratitude, and unity throughout the holiday season.


November 18, 2023: 57 Malcolm X Blvd - 12 pm to 4 pm

Jim Jones and FREEKEY Zekey are teaming up with Green Leaf Dispense, Mazza New York, and High Tolerance US to host a heartwarming turkey giveaway event at 57 Malcolm X Blvd. The community is invited to come and receive a complimentary turkey, ensuring that families and individuals have the centerpiece they need for their Thanksgiving feast. This collaborative effort is a shining example of the strength of unity in Harlem.


November 20, 2023: Boriken Neighborhood Health Center - 3 pm to 6 pm

The Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, located at 2265 3rd Ave, is joining the festivities on November 20th, 2023, from 3 pm to 6 pm. They are hosting a turkey giveaway event to provide nutritious turkeys to those in need. The center has long been a beacon of support in Harlem, and this event is yet another testament to their dedication to the community's well-being.


November 21, 2023: 203 W 133rd St & Adam Clayton Powell Blvd - 11 am to 3 pm


203 W 133rd St and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd will be transformed into a hub of generosity. A halal turkey giveaway event will be held, ensuring that diverse dietary preferences are catered to. This event beautifully showcases the rich cultural diversity of Harlem, where residents from various backgrounds come together to support each other during the holiday season.


Additionally, the East Harlem Committee For Good Government Democratic Club is hosting a hot Thanksgiving Lunch for the community on the same day; we are partnering with RGD Services, LLC, providing clothing donations. To-go plates will be available from 1 pm until 2:30 pm at Lexington Ave & E 125th St. This to-go lunch is a wonderful way for community members to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal in the comfort of their homes.
